Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any advice as to a cheap option to get vga
(d-sub) out of my new mustek dvd-r + tv tuner in order to run on a lcd.
I have read plenty about scart(rgb) to vga but would prefer the higher
quality (?) of component.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
luke

Since when is component better than RGB? Many would argue RGB is the
superior signal. They're both about the same - DVI/HDMI beats both.

Component is still interlaced 15.625 KHz scan rate. VGA (RGBHV) is
non-interlaced, scan doubled or scaled.
Component and RGB can be scan converted to VGA - at a price if you want to
do it properly.
