Been working at Cherry Bar and The Eagles+entourage took a liking to it and
have been going there most nights over the past few weeks while in Melb.
Hanging out with them all (8pce band + crew) - they were such nice people.
They have their own Boing 707 which has 4 separate rooms for the original
members who don't speak to each other (LOL) and an office, lounge, bar etc
etc as well as provisions for the rest of the 29 ppl... including a girl who
is a massage therapist and their own hostess/cabin crew.
I WANNA TOUR LIKE THAT!!!!
anyway...
Back to the Airport shuttle bus full of coughing elderly...

And you can. All you need to do is charge $500+ per ticket. Hope the folks
who went along to the shows realise they're helping pay for the jet fuel,
mini-bar, massages and maintenance for EagleAir :)

and the Viagra :)
"The sad thing was that the audience actually believed they were having a
real and meaningful contemporary musical experience when all the music
really did was reach deep into their youth and remind them that in 1977 they
had a choice between XTC, Elvis Costello, the Sex Pistols, Ian Dury and the
Eagles singing New Kid in Town - and they chose the Eagles"
the final paragraph of bernard zuel's (sydney morning herald's) review of
one of the eagles syndey shows
