Howdy,
I bought a Scart to 6 RCA(RGB) Cable.(The ones with six points (three each) red/green/blue.. red/green/blue.
Are they the right ones to plug from the Foxtel Pace STU (which has the component update) to my (one month old) NEC Plasma which has the Y/PC/PR inputs?
Will that work????

Ummm, why not plug them in and try it.
Btw, even if they work, good luck with the sound. Hope you like using
that receiver all the time.

RGB is not the same as YPbPr (component), if that is the input that
the plasma has. Presumably it will work if you can configure the
plasma input to accept RGB. This may well be possible.

oops, I missed the "component update" comment - my previous post had
assumed that you had an RGB output from the STU

Or better yet, if you don't like using your receiver all the time you could
use the second Scart for audio.

My money says a Video/DVD recorder is on that one.
