You know what's better than having Ambrose win his 2nd championship? Doing
it by winning the first race, *and* having Skaife get taken out by his
teammate as well as copping a drive through for jumping the start.

Say what you like about the pros or cons of V8 Supercars, but any race that
has old Hooknose come off decidedly worse for wear is good entertainment.

Skaife might face the prospect of having to sack himself if this poor form
keeps up.

He's certainly not the first driver to become an owner and suffer a
drop in performanceas a result.

It's a pretty long list.

Als good to see was Kelly comming off second best (for a change) with his
stoush with Lowndes. "... if he
keeps pulling stunts like that I'll continue to block him..." 2 corners
later and his car is parked.

Suck eggs Kelly. Go back to Tonka toys.

Forgetting all the Holden v Ford crap (as if), and looking at it purely as
driver v driver, I think Ambrose has proved to be top cocky. Having SBR as a
team sure helped!

I wonder about Skaifey. I think its the old "driver v racer" arguement.
Skaife is still a good driver, his qualifying times prove that. I think he's
lost the ability to race, something Ambrose has in spades. Reminds me of
Prost v Senna. Prost was the better driver, but watching Senna actually
race, passing anything else so efficiently, proved who was the better racer.

But then - Ambrose..Skaife.. they're both still a lot better than me!

Yeah, the Kellys (esp. Rick) are rather sooky, it's great to see them get
pounded. Rick's terrible driving at Indy 300 was pretty funny (except for
Bright) and when he lost to McConville in that last lap/yellow flag incident
a while back I think he nearly cried.

Todd is not much better, used to drive well but now seems to spend too much
time worrying about earrings and sunglasses.

By the way: are you Kramer's buddy?
