Looking through eBay, the description of this caught my
eye:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50139&item=7939422035&rd=1
"genuine A9X super t10 4 speed gearbox + shifter"
Considering that A9X Toranas came out with Holden 4-speeds, it's
kinda hard to see a super T10 being "genuine"!

I know this will sound silly, but I'm sure I've heard about them being
used on a9xs. I'll admit I'm only strong on Lc/j XU-1 knowledge as far
as toranas go however.

Didn't they have an Australian 4 speed?
An M21 gearbox as opposed to the M20 that was
in the LJ GTR/XU1 and horrible Opel gearbox that
was in the LC GTR.

Yep. That was exactly my point.

Same basic design, different ratios.

LOL.
The funny thing is that the L34 LH did _not_ offer any trans except
the Aussie 4-speed. The chances of the much milder A9X offering that
box as an option is pretty far fetched. I've never seen any info to
show that Holden factory fitted them.
The above link to eBay shows an aftermarket bellhousing and gear
shifter. Doesn't look very "genuine" to me!

I had a bit of a google around and found this:
"As far as I (and others who own them) know, no road going car was
ever produced with an MC7 Super T10 gearbox. Only race car orders
and spare shells had either the gearbox fitted, or the transmission
tunnel modified accordingly."

According to this page from the "A9X club of Australia", no A9X left the
factory fitted with the T10. It was available through the dealerships and
modification of the floorpan was required to fit it.
