Does Playstation2 or XBox have any Pokemon games? I love Pokemon! What about bubble games?

Thanks Watcher. :) I might wait until that one comes out. I guess my GameBoy Advance will be useless soon. :( But I want one where I can plug into my TV...and play cute games.

What about a 2nd hand Nintendo 64 and tracking down games such as Pokemon for that? This might be a cheap option.
We just bought our daughter *cough*and me*cough* a 2nd hand Nintendo 64 and about half a dozen games from our local Electronics Boutique for just a tad over $60.00
Edit - We have a Gamecube (Thanks FSFC!!!) and I'd still recommend getting one, but just as long as you are happy paying a little more for the popular games or you are happy to rent them on a regular basis. :)

I already have Nintendo 64 and Pokemon Stadium. But I want to try all these new game consoles. So I thought Gamecube will have similar games to N64. But at the same time PS2 or XBox might have have cuter games...

The GameCube does have cutsie games and good ones from what I've seen.
There are games such as the Pokemon ones, Kirby, Animal Crossing and Pimkin, but they aren't my thing and I've stuck to other GameCube games that aren't so cute. :D I have had a good bash at Luigi's Mansion and Mario Sunshine (my daughter has them), but I'm not sure if they are what you'd like.
Maybe have a look in some of your local video stores or the shelves of a local gaming shop to have a look at the boxes for an idea about the Pokemon, Kirby etc games on Gamecube. :)

As a GC owner, I'd definately say it's a worthwhile buy, actually a gift at $99.
If you think games are expensive, get a Freeloader disk, and import from US via eBay, or direct from stores in US and Canada. I have built my collection up for a fraction of the price to be paid at Retail locally.
As for cute, forget the rest, it's Nintendo all the way. The DS looks nice, but I haven't seen projected prices yet for software. Games like Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion and Harvest Moon on GC just epitomise cute. Nothing on PS1/2 or Xbox to rival them.
If you can afford it, grab it. You won't regret it.

I wouldn't mind a 'cube, but the only morivation for me buying one would be for the remade Resident Evil games, plus the resident evil 0 and the soon to be released (and looking soooo sweet RE: 4). I must of watched the rolling demo I've got close to a hundred times.

Yeah, Nintendo are the kings of cute. Hell, they're the entire royal family and most of the dukes and lords as well. ;)
Nintendo have played it smart since the introduction of the XBox - they saw what happened to Sega and decided to avoid the Sony/Microsoft war of attrition. They've found themselves a nice niche in the kiddy/cutesy game market, and it's given them a nice solid market share that isn't threatened in any way by the two big boys. So if cute games are your thing, no question that Nintendo is your console.

you can buy an adapter to allow you to play gameboy, gameboy color and gameboy advance games through your gamecube.
you can also transfer information between your gba / gba sp and the gamecube with certain games as well
