Hi,

I want to sell my pronto RU890 remote control. Any ideas what it would be
worth ? Its in good condition, apart from some light wearing on the bottom.

Thanks

Jamie, you'll probably get around $200. I recently sold my RU940 on Ebay and
got $250. I wasn't overly impressed with that but when I checked older sales
it seemed pretty much par for the course.

Cheers

Hi Scott,

OK, thanks for that. I might see about posting it on Ebay soon.

BTW, what did you "upgrade" to? If anything.

Hi Jamie, I changed to an MX700 (Home Theatre Master) mainly because I
wanted the feel of real buttons again! The TV guide on Fox Digital was a
nightmare to navigate with the Pronto and I tried a lot of different button
styles, but was never really happy so this was probably the thing that
finally made up my mind to make the change. If some of the more recent
Pronto models with the hard nav keys were a bit cheaper I may have gone that
way. Having said that, I haven't looked back since getting the MX700.

Are you upgrading?

good luck on ebay

Scott

Hi Scott,

Haha, thats the same reason I am upgrading! I use a HTPC most of the time,
and navigationg menus can be a pain. I looked at the TSU3000, as my friend
has one. But it feels like more of a step sideways. For a couple hundred moe
I managed to get a TSU7000!! I'm just in the process of making my CCF from
scratch. So far it really look nice in colour!! Especially with the
transparency. I also like the idea of having my own digital photo as a
background.(I don't mean a picture of me!) 8-)

Now just have to sell the RU890 to help fund the new toy.

Cheers
