Connect a PS2 to a TV without AV inputs

I have been asked to move my ps2 out of the living room and into another room. The only problem is the TV i want to connect it to has no AV inputs. I don't have an extra VCR and the TV is pretty old and has no AV plugs. Is there any way i can plug it in without buying a new TV or VCR and if there iss could you explain it?.

It's just a simple case of going out and buying an RFU adaptor for the PS2, they can be had for around $30 for an offical sony one, or even half that for a 3rd party one if you can find one.
