Hello everyone,
I live in Singapore and will be move to Sydney early next year. I would like to have some info on the CRT projector market in Australia:
Is any companies still selling new Home Cinema CRT Projector?
What about the used CRT projector market - high or low demand for used CRT projector? what is the hot brand and the price range for 7" & 8" CRT? Is it easy to get Home cinema installer and service personal in Sydney area?
Thanks.

Hi Chong,
Barco is the only company selling new CRT projectors in Australia that
I know of. Nice projectors, very expensive. Second hand units are
readily available for a fraction of the price.
Sony and NEC are the most popular second hand projectors available. 7"
projectors are available for $2000 to $3000 for a good example, and 8"
models for $5000 to $6000 for a good example.
There are plenty of professional installers in Sydney, and plenty of
people over here that have CRT projectors
Regards
John
