Back in June in a thread about tools, I asked if anyone recalled:
>Do you recall the brand of "shifters" ex the US that were around in the
>early 70's which had a locking rod that stopped the worm nut
> from freewheeling? Had one once (6") which was hijacked by
>one of my scaly mates, and never could get anything like it.
Well, I've found the brand and the food chain. J.W.Williams, United Greenfield
division of TRW Inc. They were called "Lockajust wrenches" and the aussie agent
in the '70s was Sulco in the Chatswood area.
Does this ring any bells with any of the "more mature" n/g regulars?
