I have a Canon 30e for which I bought a TTL hotshoe adapter and 300 cord for a 420EX Speedlite. I now have a Canon G2 and a Canon 10D. The off camera gear works fine with the G2, but refuses to fire on the 10D. Can it be that the 10D must be used with a wireless transmitter ST-E2 rather than the cord & adapter?
