I have been trying to access this page for over a week and keep getting the
page not available message.

I know the page is up and running because I can access it on my work
computer.

My home computer is using Bigpond cable as are two other people I know and
none can access the optus page. We are all from Brisbane. I can access the
other Optus pages ie optuszoo, optusnet and optusworld.

Bigpond claim it is an Optus network problem and Optus claim it is a Bigpond
problem.

Is anyone else having trouble viewing optus.com.au particularly using
Bigpond and from Brisbane

Any suggestions on what the problem might be.

Been through all that with Bigpond with no success.

Optus are now admitting
"This is a known issue for which source IP address of 60.x.x.x can not
access the www.optus.net.au website."

Hopefully, they may do something about it.

They may not be able to.
It could be a routing problem at Bigpond's end, or anywhere in between.

Works fine from my (non-Telstra) ISP.

Sounds like an attempt by Telstra to restrain its customers from trading
with Optus.
You should advise the ACCC.

Thanks for that completely superfluous proof of
what a terminal fuckwit you have always been.

I agree too. His resourcefulness, sheer brain power, command of the
language, intensity and respect for others is unprecedented.

Time Man of the Year in 2005, I reckon. He'll follow President Bush, MofY
in 2004, admirably.

You have no basis for such a conclusion.
