want to buy second hand xbox, but it must be one of the older versions 1/1.1/1.2. basically if it was made in 2003 or earlier then i want it.

new ones are just over $200 and second hand ones at cash converters in town are $145 (but they never seem to have any) i'm willing to pay $120 upto $170 including postage depending on the version and what drive it has. the perfect system would be a v1.2 (i think) they have the conexant video chip, no fan on the cpu, and the spare ram traces are pre-tinned with solder, if someone had all this and it had a phillips or samsung dirve that would be perfect. I want to do the 128mb ram upgrade and use it as a linux box, the ram is on it's way all i need now is a suitable xbox.

I would also be interetsed in spare parts, any drives, Mother Boards, Power supplies etc.

so two complete working unmodded v1.2 systems without drives ? or are the fan power button etc missing aswell?
