View Full Version : Telstra Online Billing for Prepaids
thegoons

Funny how the old Telstra Prepaid System allowed viewing of call details on
their online billing website; yet Telstra Prepaid Plus (the new and "better"
system???) does not. Progress? Not? Is it possible to pay a fee and get a
printed bill for TPP+?

Yep goons, I'll miss that facility too.
And no, you can't get a printed bill for TPP+... but the police CAN get your
calling history.

Thats because the calls dont bill in the billing system.
It is conceptually possible that Telstra will link the prepaid platform to
OLB

How much? Can't find on "Our Terms", TPP+ website, and first person i called
on 1258888 hadn't a clue "no sir, you are on pre-paid, that means we are
unable to issue bills".

Geez Mikey, and you're an employee? Telstra WON'T supply written records
about TPP+ use but they ARE available to law enforcement agencies. No
wonder customers are endlessly frustrated with T's customer "service" when
employees don't know this sort of stuff.

Best of all, on a diverted call where your iSIM service is the B-party, you
even get the CLI of the A-party even if they dont send their number.
Thanks iSIM

ok. i had a good number (my dingo blue number) which I wasnt really using,
so I ported it to iSIM.
i then got a work mobile so the iSIM number is 21 diverted to the work
number
any diverted call (diverted from iSIM to work number), has the CLI of the
a-party on the diverted call record on the iSIM web site

Oh dear... I better port a few numbers back to iSIM.
Under what field does the web site display the a-party?

Sheesh, hang on.
Should have some diverted in last 60 days . . .
Here's an example
18/01/2005 11:30:00 AM 0293424000 614xxxxxxxx 31 $0.05
Description = a party (who called your iSIM)
Number called = b party (your iSIM number)
it wont show the c-party
0293424000 is the Optus Corporate switch and the person who called was on an
extension and does *not* send their number.

Most PABX's send the switchboard number as CLI

This one DOESNT send any ID
All the diverted calls on the iSIM web site have CLI on them, even if they
werent set as part of the call.
