Remember this thread from late last year:
A work colleague here in the UK has waited for his new VW Touareg for
months*. Got a call last week, to come pick it up Saturday. He arrived
at t*he car yard, there it was. Apparently, looked it over quickly,
very* smart, signed the paper work, grabbed the keys and jumped in.
Where's the clutch pedal? "Don't tell me this is an automati*c!".
Whoops. Wrong spec. Another three months for delivery of the correct
vehicle. But they have let him keep the auto in the meantime*.
Well, the manual came in today, so he handed back the auto Touareg,
with 4000 miles on the clock, and a minor scratch. He says he could
have got used to the auto, but his wife was adamant that they have a
manual. The swap means he has on 05 model too, I suppose.
