Are any movies or shows broadcast in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound?
Because my decoder says that it's only picking up a ProLogic II signal from
the STB. I have a Toshiba HD-S23 STB and have it plugged in with the digital
optical cable to the amp. When I play DVDs the Amp automatically selects the
mode required for the signal but not with DTV.

Apart from the HD demo loops, DD5.1 is a rare beast so don't hold your
breath.

Most Sunday Night movies on Nine these days seem to have DD 5.1 (at least
when ratings are on). Nine is the DD 5.1 winner.
