Setting up Sky+ and home theatre system.

Having problems setting up Sky+ and Pioneer DCS 222 home theatre system.
Sky+ picture is working through TV but sound is only from TV. Pioneer DCS
222 is on and that is about it, cannot get any sound from it at all.

Can anyone please advise on set up?

What is connected to what and using what sort of cables - might give us all
a clue.
