Hi all

I am a budding Amateur photographer at the moment though I am making plans to get a better camera, long way off yet, I'm currently using a Minolta Dimage E223: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0303/03030206minoltadimagee223.asp

However I would love some feedback on the photos that I have been taking to-date

Kerridwyn's Photography: http://photography.mysticktech.com/index.php?cat=5

If there are Renderosity Members about I also have a Gallery of work there located at: http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=Kerridwyn&Form.sess_id=14376203&Form.sess_key=1089078613

Any comments or ways that I can improve my photography would be appreciated.

Hi Brett,

I guess you really like pano's!

I quite like all those sunset/silhouette shots. Good stuff there.

My suggestion to you is to think about framing your shots so that your subject is not dead-center in the frame, particularly with those nature shots and the flowers. Think about leading lines (eg, triangles and the rule of thirds) as a way to draw the eye to the subject.

This is sort of what I'm talking about...

Hope this helps!

Your photos look fine. Try looking around the web at pro sites and pay attention to the framing of their shots.
Do you have a camera you can use manually? If you do... try to practice manual exposures.

Bill.

Nice work there. Personally, I'm not into landscape photography, but there are a few really good shots in your website. I can't really give any advice in that sense. :)

Hey there,

I found some of your shots quite appealing, some I thought could do with tweaking the contrast up a little, and one or several were stunning.
Keep up the good work, and definately framing the peice makes a great difference,it keeps the eye focussed to the picture itself.
