looking for SD box ( x 2) with basic features such as RF and Composite video
outs (I think it would be hard to find one with out these features :-)

any suggestions ?

eBay has had daily auctions of the DigiCrystal 8800 lately, selling for
$70-80 (plus postage). A few ppl on the dba forums have bought this unit as
well. Maybe worth checking out. I have no experience with this box myself,
but a shop along the street from me is selling them for $160, but at least
the auction seller has a 30 money back guarantee and three year warranty.
Probably the cheapest around, anyway.

Avoid the cheap TEACs....major quality control problems in some of them
