Thanks for the suggestions guys but people are not understanding the problem
:-)

The tinging is not on the left or any particular part of the screen.

It's only on the left side of flesh coloured objects regardless of where
they appear on the screen.

Therefore it can't be interference from anything can it?

And everything apart from the TV is turned off.

Once again, thanks for the advice so far.

Sounds like converence is out? Buy Avia and bring up white cross hatch
pattern. Or use computer and draw up white grid on black background image,
easy to do in paint.

...sorry... yes, check your tv's convergence settings. Maybe it's a menu
option, but chances are it might be a screw adjustment inside and should
probably be done by someone with at least basic tech skills (or at least
disconnect from power and keep away from capacitors!)
