can anyone explain, in simple english coz the dictionary didnt really help me, what periostitis is and if having periostitis in your leg is incredibly serious or if it can be fixed somehow?

Inflammation of the Periosteum (which is the thin layer of tissue surrounding a bone).
It may be caused by injury, when it is treated with anti-inflammatory drugs; or by one of several infection deseases, including Turberculosis.

i always get them from playing soccer.. they hurt..
