My unit's hard drive refuses to "connect" with the box. I cannot see what
has been recorded and I cannot record anything new. "HD" appears on the box
but no picture shows on screen. Anyone got an idea?
Thanks

If you have the latest firmware there should be a menu item "HD Reset".
Select that option and it will fast format the HD.
Is this a 120G or 80G btw?

So do you know your firmware version?
I updated mine with the last update and under the Installation Menu there is
the option to FF the Hard drive labelled, "HD Reset".
