Yes I've been wondering the same thing.

Does anybody know if the Panasonic 76PW200A television has a convergence
setting in software via a service menu or will I need to have somebody come
in and take the back off to adjust a screw?

thanks
Morris

Direct view CRT TV convergence is usually done in hardware by adjusting the
things round the CRT neck.
Whereas CRT RP & FP have software convergence and more advanced geometry
adjustments. Bloody annoying really, it wouldn't take much for normal TV to
have some adjustment for convergence correction over time (or if geometry is
out when new)

Try this :
Service menu access:

Bass to max
treble to min
hold down "index"
press "-" (minus) on the front of the set.

There is no point going into the service menu to try to change convergence
settings because there are none to be found there ! Are you sure that it is
really a convergence problem? The convergence of most modern CRT TVs is
built in when the Tube is manufactured and no later user or service
adjustment is available. As this is a high definition capable set it may be
an exception but I doubt it. Have the TV replaced under warranty if it
really is a non fixable convergence problem. Are you sure it is not the
geometry that is out? This can be put right in the service menu if done with
care and remember to write down all the settings before you start.

Richard.

And once you're in, what exactly do you adjust?

Nothing, as convergence for direct views is not in the service menu. You can
only do minor geometry adjustment.
