Anyone got one of these cars?
In the owners manual it talks about tilt/telescopic steering. I can
get it to tilt no worries but as for moving in and out, not a hope.
This particular car is a series II, if it matters any. It's a nice car
which was given to me by my brother but I really don't like the
driving position in comparison to the shitty old EA Falcon I was
driving before.
Btw, it seems odd that the owners manual that came with this car has
"Calais" on the front cover but it does seem to cover all the various
models from Executive onwards. Maybe the S just doesn't have
telescopic steering?

All VR commodores series 1 & 2 had tilt and telescopic steering wheel
adjustments.
It has probably never been moved for many years so it is stuck.

If you cant move it, maybe try some dry lube, WD40 or CRC.

If it's got tilt, then it's got scope according to partfinder. Chances are
it's stuck from lack of use.
