Think spending hundreds of dollars on so called 'high quality' cables for
your home theater promises better sound? Not necessarily...
Rob Enderle really gets my goat. You remember him—he’s the one who just
wrote a TalkBack column disparaging Apple. What really burns me is that he
got more hate mail than I ever have. Now I feel ten feet small. There’s only
one way to regain my rank as the most hated writer in consumer electronics:
It’s time to talk about premium cables again.............

if you saw the type of speaker audio cables used in professional recording
studios you would be truly shocked - albeit for a few small boutique
outfits. Standard 240 volt power cable abounds even the white flat single
core stuff that runs around in your roof!

Rob Enderle? Gaffaw.

Rob Enderle is the infamous foul-mouthed "troll for hire" in the SCO/IBM
lawsuit.

If you where to set up a test using two identicial systems, showing only
the speaker fronts , with one using so-called Hi-end cables, worth xxxxxxxx
dollars and the other system using "wet string" your so-called experts would
not have a bloody clue on what system used what.
Your hearing is simply not as wonderful as your ego's

The one's I really like are the people who pay $500 for a power cable which
doesn't have anything more that whats found on the input to every computer
power supply stuck in the middle of it. I suppose you have convince yourself
if you've just wasted $500 dollars.

You might like to check out the latest edition of Hi-Fi plus, which reported
recent stringent double-blind, level-matched testing of cables and came to a
conclusion you won't like.

Rather than waste money on so called super cables, spend the hundreds of
dollars instead on a set of Tannoy Super Tweeters, you will hear the
difference..
