    Not the first.

Was he at a dangerous speed 'at POINT of operation' on that 110km/h
    designated road?

    I'll say 'no'.

My opinion (if wanted), is that if he was a "safety"
hypocrit and considered himself to be that "good" that
he did not pose a threat to other road users by driving
at such a speed in traffic (like some aus.car posters
also profess); he got what he deserved.

In traffic?? This is Wagga Wagga rural zone. The road he was on use to be
derestricted and in poorer physical shape 28 years ago! Hell, he was legal
back then and likely in a shittier car.

A better length of the overall run (and his colleague knows it) so is higher
    in speed for the length.

    (like some aus.car posters
    > also profess); he got what he deserved.

No argument, he broke the rules and is appropriately actioned.

Never monkey with another monkey's monkey.

Just as well he wasn't driving all that fast, you would be asking for
the death penalty if he had got out of second gear:-)

Err... I changed to a T350 with stock convertor after blowing up
a tricked up glide with dominator 2200 highstall about 4 or 5
times. I really don't think that it liked the 2.47 diff - the
    gearset died twice.

If or when the T350 dies, the T700 that's now in the back of the
garage will get rebuilt and go in instead.
