    Speed Camera trick

After seeing ACA about that chick in her Datsun getting pinged for some
absurd speed that was later proven to be impossible, I came up with an idea.
Of course it takes a bit of cash and a lot of time but I reckon you could
pretty much bring the downfall of speed cameras in your chosen state.
    The plan:
    1. Find a bomby car
    2. Put big engine in it and drive past a camera at speed
    3. Put the old engine back in it and scream to the papers when you get a
    ticket.

Repeat the process with various unrelated people until the general public
are so pissed off that the govt has no choice but to can all cameras.

    I've always wanted a V8 120y. I'll buy the finished product once you're
    done crusading.

Then they would draw lines on the road and take 2 pictures a second apart.

Simple maths to work out the actual speed.

But then I'd paint over their lines :)

Which require a human in the process. This would slow the entire process
massively and still have the desired effect.

This is what I do when I get done with too many yellow stickers, and
require a RTA inspection to drive again.
Last time,They told me what a good job I had done with the new
    engine...ROFL

Last time got done speeding at 129kph I told the cops I had modified
the gearbox and that my speedo was not correct ,he sugessted that I
could have it calibrated if I wanted to for about $300...lol
Just drive slow he said,it will work out cheaper.

You'd be better off picking someone at random, duplicating their car down to
a tee and driving past the cameras at 180kph. You wouldn't need a V8, just a
hotted up 4. The owner would even pass a lie detector then. Probably need to
do it with newer cars because it would be too difficult to duplicate all the
    bumps in a 20 yo 120y.

What he should have done is write a defect on the vehicle for faulty
    speedometer and odometer accuracy.

Don't think he was that intelligent or he was anoyed that he had to
cain the shit out of his RV to catch me,
I accellerated to max speed as soon as I saw him packup the radar and
started jumping into the car to chase me,took hime about 4-5km to pull
    me up.
I did 120mph (180-190kph)for about 1-2 km up the hill to put some space
    between him.

Easier if you want to tease a particular camera is to put on a false number for
    the run.

The favoured number here in WA was 1AAA111 which was the beamer of the then
    Commish.

Get Noddy to build another 202/nitrous powered 120Y and buy it off him
    =)

Or just use anything with a temporary/bodgy nitrous set up. That'll be
much easier than reinstalling a motor.

This would be fun with a Suzuki Hatch or a charade. 3 cylinder jobbies that
aren't known for their grunt. The trick would be fitting the engine in the
    engine bay.

For a not-so-temporary setup, a hatch or mighty boy could gain a mid/rear
engine. the back of a hatch should fit a SBC on a TH475. :-)

Maybe a simpler way would be to buy 2 of the same color cars,
for example two white datsun 120ys.
Do the spead runs swap the plates back.

That way upon inspection the car will remain original
while the authorities dot realise the true offender car is hidding in
    your shed.
