    UNBRANDING Vodafone phones

    I currently have a vodafone s700i.
I was wondering if its possible to have the vodafone software
    removed?
    How much would it cost?
And is there anyone around Brisbane that does it?
    Has anyone had it done?

    Thanks

I heared that it can be done. When the double deal of the V525 was happening last year someone on ebay was removing the software for about $20-$25 from memory.
I dont remember any of the details however but your best bet is probably to ask a dodgy mobile shop.

From what I have read on overseas sites it can be done.

I would just prefer not to do it myself.

Maybe I will ring up sony ericsson repair shop tomorrow and make a
    few inquiries

I reflashed the firmware on my k700i using Da Vinci Team's service (via the
net, needed a NSS-20 syncstation though)
