Your nslookup prompt highlighted a problem here.

I realised while palying about that this machine hadn't had it's DNS settings changed since I moved from my old ISP. I've since changed it and I'll let you know if there's any more problems.

    Cache Ya,
    Craig.

I've had patchy access for the last few hours also, been getting plenty of DNS errors, may just be because the records had not updated as sometimes happen when you relocate a site.

I was having consistant problems but it's cleared up entirely now, it was also in Firefox.

I didn't notice Popeye's earlier post about the spell check being broken. I don't seem to have one at the moment. I hadn't actually noticed that it was added back at all but that could just be me overlooking the obvious if it's supposed to be offline at the moment.

Since these forums are eventually supposed to be independent, I am guessing they just went with where they could get a good domain name, cheap. The domain name registrar is http://www.dot.tk . If you have ever dreamed of having a Tokelau web address, that is the place to go!

It looks like that you are getting rid of the "EYO Forums" title everywhere. I just wanted to let you know that "EYO Forums" is still the sub-heading of the main forums.

That is correct. Where else are we able to come up with a good domain name as short and meaningfull as phorums.tk? The only regrete is forums.tk has been taken.

Are you concerned about losing the Australian aspect to the forums phorums?

I don't think we will lose that with a different domain name. However we will need to plaster Australia somewhere big so that people know straight away most of the visitors are from Australia.

The spell checker trashes paragraphing and blank lines.

The Latin plural for Forum is Fora. For Phorum that would be Phora. If you added an abbreviation for "Australian Musers's" to the front of it, what would you get?

    Light another pipe there, Sherlock.
Extending his universal communication tendrils, Quorf addressed the Earthling in the traditional manner, "We come in peace. Take me to your leader." He was buzzing with anticipation; this was his first contact mission. The Earthling opened it's mouth, "Here it comes." he thought.

"Funny tasting bug." thought the chameleon, swallowing.

I've never seen Ozeagle get upset over a blank line.

Errr... I don't know where else to post this and thought that the title of this thread looked the most likely (but the discussion going on doesn't seem to fit the topic!).

I've had trouble since the switch from eyo to phorums. When I first logged in the other night I got the notification box asking me if I wanted to accept a cookie from phorums. Having never heard of it before I just assumed that it was an ad-box on one of the pages I'd opened (I tend to have about a half dozen browser windows going at once) and so I said 'no to all'. Obviously, I later realised that I should have said yes! I'm now having to log in every time I come to the site (whereas previously the site remembered me and I didn't have to log in) and I have to re-log fairly frequently when I'm using the site - this evening nearly every time I change the page.

Does anyone know where can I turn the cookies back on for this site?

I'm running Windows XP Pro and using IE 6.0

    Thanks!!
