Now that I've read Latham's diaries, it's more difficult than usual to
listen to the Bomber and not be critical of the way he communicates.
The Bomber was in Darwin recently and he just droned on and on about
Darwin's place in Asia. Most people who were present for his talk couldn't
stop wondering why he was wearing a suit coat that didn't fit him. None of
anything he said was in "plain English", no wonder he's not won the "big
one".
