    My clock's broke

The clock in the lower right hand corner is always wrong. I have to
repeatedly synchronize it with the internet time server every few
    hours.

The date is always wrong too. Everytime I turn it on, it's off by 2-3
    days.

Is this a known problem? Any fixes?

    Yes.
    It's repairable.
It means your CMOS battery is dead/dying.
    Get a new one.

Look in your computer - most modern ones are the larger "watch-type"
batteries. With your computer off - take it out - go buy a new one - put in
the new one - set your date/time and go!

Buy a new CMOS battery at Radio Shack. It sits on the Mobo and runs
    from about $2.00 to $7.50
