    TT & ACA Bullshit again...

They're both back and both are using a new bullshit technique to tease you
    for the next days show.

At 6:59, they both say, "coming up" and promote a story like it was going to
be shown after the ad break. When they return, they both start the story
off, but the word "TOMORROW" is slashed across the bottom of the screen.

Then they cross back saying, "that report on tomorrow's show". From what I
can recall, TT has been using this technique for a while and ACA started
using it towards the end of last year.

    **** I hate them!!!

So do I. That is why I haven't watched either for at least a year.

ACA have been using the "back with more in a moment" line for years,
("more" in ACA parlance is what's on tomorrow). They've had to do
this since between show ad breaks were replaced with a just-before-
    the-end break.

Anyone know the history of this innovation to try to keep viewers
watching the following show? Probably some US network 10-20 years
ago. Were sitcoms and dramas always written with short tag sections,
and if not, how do they broadcast repeats of these old shows?

I like Arrested Development's take on this - they show a short sequence with
the voice-over "on the next Arrested Development" but it never is :-)

And is often extremely hilarious to boot, and usually always something that
"Blue Man Group" wannabe Tobious has frigged up again ;-)

Sigh. Being teased by the charming Monika - there's a pleasant thought.
Face it Eastralian losers: you're all masochists if you watch that
Naomi bitch, so you probably enjoy being treated with contempt like
    that.
