    Closing Ceremony on Ch 9

Is it just me or is the sound quality of the closing ceremony on ch 9 really
    really bad?

I am on foxtel digital...and the sound is like it's being recording on
someone's mobile phone in the crowd.

Anyone else notice this and all the echo??

Sounds perfect through my computer (have a tv tuner on my monitor
screen) in terms of being crisp. Just the usual slight delay that we
experience at AFL Grand Finals. Only upsetting sound is the voice of
Ray Martin. Where's Brian Naylor or some other good Melbournian voice
    to do the compering?

Just LOVE the way that John So, our Lord Mayor (a great personality) is
getting roars from the crowd. It isn't lost on me that Ron Walker, a
    former Lord Mayor, is amused.

I really like him too. I think he's genuinely honest in his love for
Melbourne - plus I thought that he had dignity when there was some
plonker (can't remember who it was) who made fun of his pronunciation
and attacked him personally. Then it was beaten up by the media.

Possibly because more of it is live than at the opening.

Yeah and the numerous "John So is my Bro" t-shirts that were in the crowd.
Good old "Mr Potato Head" aka Ron Walker. He tried to shaft his fellow party mates in

I called TCN and they said they had received numerous complaints about the
    quality and Ray.

Obviously nothing was done to improve it.

    Yeah if wishes were fishes...........
I'd actually buy a ticket to the games just to see it happen. LOL
Actually seeing as Eddie McEgo is now the new boss at Nein, perhaps we can persuade
him to give Ray the arse??
Btw wasn't there a cartoon character that always got dragged off stage by a large
    hook??

The cringe factor from Ray far exceeds anything dished out by K&K. They
could have easily had Rod Quantock.

Given his (quite legitimate) opposition to the location of the games village

Was that before or after the athletes left the stand? I didn't see
