I wouldn't expect it to go down for at least a couple of months because when i went to pick up brawl in the morning there were no MK games i could see anywhere in Big W, K-mart or EB. So i wouldn't expect it to go down for a while.
I have a wi-fi connector as well and it has given me about 1/2 a year of good nintendo online. Now because brawl is out, according to nintendo there are so many people online that it is screwing the nintendo servers over so not many people are getting through to anything.and i have a Wi-Fi connector and it never worked for me.. i think it was my firewall it sh*ts me because i dont know how to change it so it does because ive been really wanting to try online stuff.
I gave it to my friend and it worked on his computer so the connector actually works.. gah frustrating.

I got Smash Bros on Thurs, but hadn't really played it till today. Great fun, looking forward to some solid playing tomorrow when I have the house to myself.
I managed to have one basic brawl today with a bit of lag - not totally unplayable lag though. It was a nice quick 2 minute brawl and it is good to see what combos other people come up with. It takes about 5 minutes or so though to connect to other players for me and i know it aint my connection so i must assume that the traffic on wifi is horrible.

ive had sonic and the rings, bully, godfather, wii play, dog island guitar hero, some poker game, the bigs, wii fit.
all have gone
except for wii fit, sports guitar hero and godfather.
I bought a Wii spur of moment thing, and havent' used it (it's wrapped up for Xmas). What's the best thing for the batteries, using rechargable or one of those packs that you just connect it to recharge? I read somewhere that those packs only use cheapie recharge batteries so they aren't very good.
Also Wii fit is it worth buying? I can get one at Kmart for $113?
Also this guitar thing....would love to try it so whats the best to get just guitar hero? (does that come with the guitar and game?)
Thanks

I bought the rechargable stand (comes with batteries for the remote). I was so sick of going through so many batteries all the time! I just leave it in the recharge stand all the time when I am not playing.
I like Wii fit, but with 2 kids under 4 I don't get to play it much 'cos they are crawling over the board, begging for a go or just IN THE WAY. If you don't have kids, or they are older I think it is a good buy, and $113 is about as cheap as you will get it!
Personally I think Zelda is a must buy as well!![]()

Wii Fit is a lot of fun, so is Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero: World Tour has recently come out and comes with guitar, drums and microphone. I'm hoping Santa brings it for me, I'd love to give the drums a bash![]()

I played a few games last night on my son inlaws wii, still not sure if I want to get a wii or not. But it could be what you get used to I guess, they have the controls worked out I had problems in the hour or so I was there.![]()

When we bought the wii the first game we decided to buy was Wii Play (followed VERY closely by Zelda!!). Wii play was a good way to start, as you get the game and another wiimote pretty cheaply. the game is designed to teach you how to control it and learn to play - very basic compared to some of the other games! My mum even got excited with her progress in this one! And she loved wii fit!![]()

If anyone happens to buy ANIMAL CROSSING, and you like to play online, be sure to buy it with the Wii Speak mic so you can play and chat with your friends online! And if interested let me know and we can trade friend codes so we can visit each others towns....

I`m in Japan at the moment, and was watching some random Japanese gameshow and saw an ad for Mario Tennis Wii. So yeah can`t wait for that to come out in Australia. The 64 version was so much fun
We have a Wii... and just last week I got my wii fit...
