I've seen the ad, but I still don't understand the whole concept.

Do folders fold the paper as they are using it? That's a bit too much of a thought process involved for such a simple task I think.

yeh i heard them talking bout it on the shebang, and apparently 60% of aussies a folders. go figure.

as marty puts it though, its about the broadness of the wipe that comes from folding it

If you were anally retentive, there'd be no need for paper at all.

You don't get more surface area from folding , you just get a thicker wad between you and your poo. Is that living? NO.
I wrap the paper around my hand as I pull it off the roll. That way I get it off the roll nice and quick, and have a large amorphous mass of paper to shape into a powerful, adaptable weapon against unwanted foecal smearing.
Then I rub it on my arse. I rub it and rub it and rub it. Then a MAGICAL GENIE emerges and grants me A POISONOUS c**k TAIL OF LETHAL GASES.

I think I'm getting it now, so folders fold at the indentations, effectively making 2 or 3 ply (or 1 ply if your a tightarse), into many layered?

I see that as a huge waste of paper.

Thinking back before I started with the fresh wipes (you know the ones, like the baby wipes but they aren't because they're called something else. ), I must be what they call a scruncher then. I grabbed a few squares, and just went about the cleanup duties, no folding involved.

Folder. Leaves less room for error.

You could use it to practice your spelling on for one. WITH is spelt W-I-T-H not w-i-d.
