Your last 3 rounds in or near Melbourne, Australia

I have an (unfortunately) _not_ hypothetical question.

Suppose you have had the pleasure of being a member at a Melbourne
Sandbelt club and have played over 100 rounds there in the past year
or so and have taken a real liking to Sandbelt golf. Then imagine
that in the last couple of months your handicap dropped from 23 to
19, and looked like it might even be going lower soon.

Then suppose for one reason or another you have had to resign your
membership and relocate to Los Angeles and you have exactly one
week in which to play 3 rounds of golf somewhere in or around
Melbourne or the Mornington Peninsula. And suppose you have a max
budget of about AUD500 total to spend on this quest.

Where would you play and why?

The Dunes, 13th Beach (Ok, not Mornington Peninsular...but worth the
ferry trip) and Moonah Links. If you can't make 13th Beach...try
Sandhurst. Allow about $100 per course will cover green fees, cart and a
decent meal.....leaves you $200 for fuel and ferry (if you are quick
    about it!).

All first class championship courses, with spectacular holes and
facilities ..... The Dunes my favourite.

    cheers

First would be Olinda Golf Course. My Dad's ashes were scattered on the tee
of the 3rd and I'd want to have "a wee half" on the tee with him before I
    left.

Second would be a traditional sandbelt course, maybe a Royal Melbourne, as
long as I could play with a bunch of mates.

Third would be a cups course becuase I haven't played on any of them yet.
