    Drove another 380 ES

This one had barely 400km on the clock and was 5 weeks old.

The good: 8.8L/100km doing the Canberra to sydney run and back, with
freeway speeds of up to 120km/h

The bad: The A/C was broken. And it was 34 in Sydney yesterday! The
recirculation button was a failure too. Also everytime I stopped I got
a strong wiff of burning oil. Hard to see the trip computer and how do
    you adjust the dash lights?

Yeah, Oz is already hard at work doing research to show that, in general,
Mitsubishi air conditioners have a significantly lower failure rate than
those of Holden's, and Andy must have either been terribly unlucky of
couldn't have used it properly :)

Andy is straight out liar, Mitsu air-con could NOT possibly fail.

I'm sure Oz will suddenly remember how the AC in his VZ (and/or VS) ****ed
up, oh.. and just for the hell of it, he's gonna have to mention that
    bloody windscreen cracking again ;-)

****, you try crawling in a traffic jam, window open near Picton with
trees down and smoke billowing, hitting the ****er A/C switch, with the
manual open on the steering wheel.

Did not have trouble the last time I drove a 380. Obviously a dud 380.
Series 1 I would say even though it was sold just last month. Must
have been parked in that paddock at Tonsly Park for a loooooooong time.
So what if it was a rental? With 4kay on the clock these problems
    should not have happened.

Still, if it had ESP and curtain air bags I would seriously reconsider
    getting one.

Even BMW Series 5 are NOT recommended by serious motorists these days.
So paying more money does not get a better car.
