    Hi all,

You who have an USB HDD connected to this DVD player.
    Which HDD do you use?

I have searched the web for a while now and can't find any specific models that works.

And i don't wont to take a chance either.

    Thanks in advance

Any 2.5" drive should work including externally powered 3.5" drives.

FYI there is an unofficial firmware available that gives this player improved subtitles display and long filename support if you are interested - among other things.

Hi guys, i have a pioneer dv 400 v and i'v connected to it a maxtor 750gb external hard dirve, i formatted it to fat32 and it works, the thing is that i have problems with accessing when i have over 3-4 directories, i had to take the data and put it on the main directory or one beneath it to be able to use it otherwise when ever i tried accessing the lower directory the dvd just froze...

i tried everything, changing the directory name, making them shorter, nothing helped...anyone has an idea..??
