    Cheers.
I read some article about it. But I cant remember which one is it already.
It's a really promising technology for some one like me who want to have a good TV but not that expensive. I hold myself from getting a plasma now so that I can buy this one.

Ah, no - 'coming' as in the prototypes were shown at a show (jok11n will know which one), but the release dates keep getting put back.

I haven't read much about SED, but Laser TV looks promising.

im now in the market for an lcd or plasma aswell. . .budget of $1500 but am looking to get a home theater setup in the futue so i would rather spend less so i can get a head start in saving up for that.

Any recommendations? ill be connecting my xbox 360 to it, my tv to it and hopefully my PC to it, although im not very familiar with how thats done, also my dvd player and id like to have inputs for future home theater\loudspeaker upgrade

speaking of which. . .how would i go about connecting loudspeakers that run speaker wire into a tv? would i need an amp? ive googled it but its such a vast topic, if someone could even give me some keywords to look up id be very grateful
The world works in mysterious, predominantly evil, mostly fu*ked up ways. .so act accordingly

Muffin Man, have you read all the other info in this post that the guys kindly told to me when I was looking? You prob have, so the next step, again as I was told, is to go and see some for your self in shops. That was the best advice and thing to do first..

Taken directly from Wikipedia, full article here
One hertz simply means one cycle per second (typically that which is being counted is a complete cycle); 100 Hz means one hundred cycles per second, and so on. The unit may be applied to any periodic event—for example, a clock might be said to tick at 1 Hz, or a human heart might be said to beat at 1.2 Hz

Just wanted to shout out how happy Iam with my Panasonic purchase..
I actually enjoy watching the news and things now. Really love the design aspects of the flat panel display when I come to think about..probably more so than the features LOL...

Now next question, slightly of topic, thinking about buying a game console. Things to consider; never had anything before except the good old atari 2600 LOL, have not a clue about consoles and games, thinking to purchase something purely for the rainy days when there is nothing else to do and have a laugh maybe..Cheers

    HURRAY!!! Samsung LCD M8 - 40"

    Hi guys,

Just want to share with the community.

Finally I bought LCD. After all kinds of research and with very interesting offer is going on. I've decided to get it now instead of next year.

I thought I may wait till new technology coming out. But after depth research.. It is the best choice... We will never know when that laser TV is coming out.

So hope that my testi can help few peoples in making decision.

I've paid around 22++ for a Samsung LCD series M8 - 40 inch in BING LEE - It has built in Tv Tuner.. We can set it up easily without setup box and the resolutions is great. Plus with that price, I can get an FREE LCD Samsung (in small size).

Well... for you who are not interested to get a FREE LCD. You can get a better price in Harvey Norman. It is just around $17++ with same features (but I am not sure wheter it is the same version).

    Happy shopping.

Merry Chrismat and Happy New Year!

Well done, how has the LCD been treating you since you got it.

While Im here, anyone know about "Gallery Player"? Its a feature that allows you to down load high resolution images for HD TVs and show case them like a painting. Panasonic has merged with this company to allow the images be down loaded onto an SD memory card.

Displaying an image 24/7 on your screen couldn't be a good thing could it?

Hope everyone had a good Christmas.
And be safe on the roads, Happy New Year.
