Grumble grumble. Left the passenger door to my car open all last night. Nothing stolen or damaged but I think some nocturnal creepy-crawly got in there. There's no "evidence" I noticed but something just smells funny. Got to air it out and deodorize / refresh it but the last thing I want to do this evening is go tiny-turd hunting and pee detecting. Yeech. Grumble grumble.

I knocked up a $600 internet bill because of downloading (No-one told me we had a 1GB limit!)
My dad yelled at them for an hour and he had it removed

He's booked out until March next year, but I'll see what I can do.

You seriously don't want to be on the wrong side of my dad, especially if you are a manager.

Just one of those oddball thoughts, a recollection of something once heard - this one related to martial arts movies: if Bruce Lee was gay, it'd give a whole new connotation to Enter the Dragon.

Well those who know me would realise i don't mind a bet on the horse's and it's the top class gallopers that i like to have a go at.With all the good ones back in work for the upcoming Autumn carnivals i decided to have a go at one today. In the end i finished up pulling out the racing equivalent of a get out of jail free card.
I had my sights set on the Sydney sprinter Spark of life in the Australia stakes at Moonee Valley figuring he would lead easily and kick on the turn to give nothing else a chance. With $100 on at the $2.20 the kick on the home turn wasn't quite what i had anticipated with Hong Kong sprinter Cape of good hope sitting right on his heels and powering home far to strongly for him.
Off to a bad start for the day and 4 $10 bets later on medium priced horse's trying to pull some $$ out of the fire i was looking like taking a loss on the day.
Resigned to my fate i decided to throw a final $10 on in the wide open Liverpool City Cup at Warwick Farm.Sam sung a song with Scotty Seamer in the saddle gets home a winner at $10.10.
$101 back and still $49 behind the 8 ball but i wouldn't hear of Beautiful Gem getting beaten at level weights in the Sunline stakes so $50 strait on at $2.50.Well she did get home (by about 1/2 a head ) but that was enough to get out of jail
    won $26 for the day
    Bring on next weeks races!

Well i only follow class horse's.I figure even if you get beat if you have your hard earned money on the best horse's in the country you will at least get a run for your money.Bare in mind every top owner, trainer and jockey wants to win the prestige races so don't waste your time with the second rate also ran's.
Under that basis i would say the two horse's who ran first and second in the feature race in melbourne the week before ELVSTROEM (caulfield cup winner and possibly the best horse in the country) and SAVABEEL (W S Cox plate winner) are the two to follow over the Autumn carnival. They will both take a power of beating in anything they contest over the coming weeks.
