    Know the feeling Las.
Have a appointment with a specialist first thing monday morning to see if a course of Cortisone will help my knee,or if I'm going to need a damn knee reconstruction.

damn .. i hope the cortisone works then because i know a reco is more physically and mentally draining.
my boss just had one and her knee refused to bend after 2 months with physio twice a week.
she just went in yesterday to get all drugged up and them cracking it so it bends. because she needs to go in again because they harvested some of her cartilege and wouldnt be able to do the 2nd op without having movement in her knee ..
whats even worse is now she can stand on it and has some movement but after the 2nd one its 6 weeks non weight bearing.

good luck tues *fingers crossed for ya*

You have to look at the bright side. If it doesn't work, you get to walk with a cane like Dr. House, which is stylish, and more importantly is also weapon. If I get a cane I'm going to get a slightly thicker than normal one, have it drilled out down the middle with a small size drill bit, and fill that space with lead.

Good luck with it all. I remember a lot of people having those injections when I was in high school, but I don't know anyone who has had a reconstruction.

im sicky sick .. havnt been eating properly for the past week because everything i eat makes me feel like i want to throw up .. and for the past 3 days i have been after everything i eat.
The only thing that seems to stay down is water.
went to the doctor and gave me some tablets to take .. though havnt really started to take effect yet ive thrown up twice since taking it.
    Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Tuesday, try taking an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen (Neurofen) or Naproxen (Naprosyn) in conjunction with your panadeine forte...you'll probably find they're more effective than standard pain killers for the type of pain you have. In my personal experience Tramadol isn't a great drug and can have some nasty side effects so I'd stick with the Panadeine Forte if I was you.
