Thread: fonts non readable

    fonts non readable

    I have an xp home machine where suddenly the fonts are non readable garbage.
    The DOS window comes up normal ,
    but nothing in windows is readable even in safe mode. What could this be??

    You could try a system restore. If you can't find System Restore, boot into
    Safe Mode with Command Prompt (or find the Command prompt icon in
    Accessories, a black square icon with C:\ in it) and type:

    %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

    and press enter to start System Restore.
