Yep, far too young. He made a lot of people happy with his humour.

I see there that Paul Newman's not got long to live, either. Another screen legend about to leave us.

Here's cheers to both of them.
Extending his universal communication tendrils, Quorf addressed the Earthling in the traditional manner, "We come in peace. Take me to your leader." He was buzzing with anticipation; this was his first contact mission. The Earthling opened it's mouth, "Here it comes." he thought.

"Funny tasting bug." thought the chameleon, swallowing.

I think I read a while ago that Issac Hayes was very ill and it wasn't looking good for him and femme, that's the first I have heard about Paul Newman.
    Very sad.

Maybe I should make a one size fits all thread for the news of such passings.
Anyone have a tasteful name for such a thread?

I like this idea Otherwise perhaps a simple The R.I.P. Thread

There is a last curtain call
    For one and all.
    The celebs listed below
    Were likewise made to go.
    Off they went
Without taking along a single cent.

    Meh. Too long.
    Doesn't scan either.

*dumps silie's cool idea (this is cooler )*

Last curtain call is perfect for a celebrity death thread.
Extending his universal communication tendrils, Quorf addressed the Earthling in the traditional manner, "We come in peace. Take me to your leader." He was buzzing with anticipation; this was his first contact mission. The Earthling opened it's mouth, "Here it comes." he thought.

Okay, but as long as we get a suitably respectful thread titled "Tramp the Dirt Down" (for the "Dead at Last, thank **** for that" entries. )

Eagerly awaiting Peter Reith's long overdue entry. Surely Margaret Thatcher hasn't got much longer in her
