Question What Are You Playing Lately?

I haven't seen a thread like this on here for yonks.

So what game/s has been taking up a good part of your life recently?

I've been concentrating my efforts on [b]Civilization III [b/]on the PC. Now that I have a PC capable - this game was a must own

But with Rugby League coming out shortly on PS2, and Cricket 2004 (hopefully will be excellent and better than 2002), these may get a good running, and naturally Final Fantasy X-2 will dominate February

Just got hold of Conflict Desert Storm II for the XBOX today, so I'll be on that every chance I can get.
Might look at Rainbow Six 3 for the XBOX next week or the week after.

Recently, I've been messing around with Soldier Of Fortune 2 and Tactical Ops on the PC.

Yeah, I've really been into shooting people lately. I've only had this feeling since the MMM Freq thread came about.

Just played some Rugby 2004 on PS2.. What a dodgey game. Thought it was going to be, but it was worse than I imagined.

Piss poor commentary and dull slow gameplay, bit like the gamplay which plagues AFL2003/4

Is that the Rugby Union or League game on PS2?

I've been playing a little bit of Colin McRae Rally 4. But haven't touched it for a few weeks now.

Want to get project Gotham Racing 2...

    Union...

The league one comes out 20/12/03.. Hopefully will be as good as E.T's Rugby League.

But I also hired Splashdown 2, and finally Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, so I think Rugby will be taken out of the PS2 very shortly

Just got XIII on XBox - fantastic stuff.

Tomorrow night am getting Tony Hawk's Underground and Rainbow Six 3.

The sis bought "Music Maker" for $70 at K-Mart, which comes with it's own XBox Microphone [ugh], but allows you to upload mp3's and jpeg's to the xbox. Seems interesting - but you have to be into that stuff I guess.

Rugby 2004 thankfully got better to play but still worth no more than $39.95.

Splashdown 2 was the real winner. A great sea-doo racer with some cool riders, more oneliners than a Roger Moore Bond film, and even a great line from Goonies

l`m interested to see how the Music Maker is, l`m in the process of putting all my photo`s in my computer, wouldn`t mind putting them in the xbox and using the xbox as a slide show for the photo`s.....putting my mp3`s collection in there would be good too...but would need a bigger drive though

Only problem I found with GTAIII was that I got more fun, shooting the cops, or getting chased by the triads, or whatever they are, rather than completing the missions.

Yeah, for me a lot of the time the missions where a side project too. I have more fun trying to find all the unique jumps etc.
Ghosting the motorbikes into people in Vice city ate up a lot of my time too.
