No, LOL. Actually I stated just the opposite of what I intended too. I meant to say:

I do agree though that top posting is silly. It makes no more sense than writing/reading
right to left. It's backwards plain and simple. If you wanted to read a book and had two
options: one that was wriiten top down and one that was written bottom up, which would you
read?
To a point you made earlier, I also agree if the first reply is top posted, you may as well
continue that way as mixed top/bottom posting is even worse on a thread that goes to any
length.

OTOH, blogs are now top-posted in general...
OTOOH, I think most blogs are silly, too.
OTOOOH, it does make for more easily getting to the latest info; not silly
at all!
