I haven't ironed in years. I'm not exaggerating, I've lived in this house over 2 years now and I have never got out the iron and ironing board in all that time. The key is in the way you hang it once you get it out of the washing machine....and the cheap polyester fabrics. I'd rather have crotch rot than iron.
I hardly watch Free to Air at all anymore, for a 30 min show 10 mins is ads.

I've been watching the new season of Derek and Chris Lilleys new show "Jonah from Tonga" both are pretty good

What's The Catch (SBS fr. 30 Oct 2014)

    http://www.sbs.com.au/programs/whats-the-catch

"What's the Catch? Matthew Evans discovers the shocking truth about Australia’s seafood and reveals what we should be eating and why. Premieres 8.30pm Thursday 30 October on SBS ONE."

Episode 1: "Matthew shows the devastating impact of our insatiable demand for prawns and launches a campaign to help us all be part of the solution to save our seafood."

    ---

    Geeeeeeeeez.

I've never liked Vannamei prawns (they just taste a bit off, artificial), knowing they are farmed in Thailand but not knowing exactly how. Until now.
    That's disgraceful.

Brutal sea-bottom dragging trawlers scraping anything and everything from the sea floor, resulting in around 30% max of the catch saleable as it is, the rest called "trash fish" - minced protein food primarily for the farmed prawns.

    Sickening.

    Thur 6th Nov 8:30pm - on now:

    www.sbs.com.au/programs/whats-the-catch

    Yes, very informative.
So, boycott Vannamei prawns - stay away from fast-food / cheap eatery prawns which are almost certainly Vannamei - those trawlers raping the seafloor and ecosystems & feeding that industry with that "Trash Fish" is disgraceful.

Lookin forward to tonight's episode (2 of 3 apparently).

I was really supprised that the first one was as good as it was. I didn't think it could be pulled together at all. Haven't seen the other one.
Now for the rant, Comics in the cinema is getting pretty shallow when I look at the first Spiderman in comparison to crap like Antman, or the differance between Superman Returns, or even the original Superman, with the last one they did. My wife like the last one so I'm assuming in retrospect that she likes the actor, which is fine of course but the movie really sucked. The X-Men has stayed good. The second Sin City I liked better than the first which is good, but it was always better as a comic and difficult to put on film.

Last thing I watched was some CNN documentary series on Netflix that I've gotten addicted to. I don't remember the name but its really good. Oddly, its all American issues and I haven't lived there in 15 years and haven't got freaking clue about what's happening there anymore and further to that I'm living in Ecuador now where American culture is pretty close to irrelevant with the exception of assorted celebrity gossip here and there which I always tend to ignore anyway. I did however google Chelsea ... forgot her name, but this stand up comic has a really good documentary series also on Netflix that I binge watched the first 4 or 5 episodes of and her boobs were mentioned enough that I googled them. It was underwhelming, the results. Chelsea Handler... that's her name. She's a reckless nutcase but the issues tackled are really good.

I liked Jupiter Ascending fairly well, I felt Antman was okay but that these movies are getting dumbed down. I think I said that last time. I recently watched all the Spider-Man movies again and the difference between the first in one and the last one, both of which are a portrayal of Peter Parker getting his powers, was night and day. The first one genuinely captures everything the comic sets out to do with that as well as character as a whole while incorporating Mary Jane Watson and the hard decision Peter makes at the end. The last one is a watered down and terrible B movie by comparison. They should have continued the Spider-Man story instead of redoing it with different villains while downplaying the death of his Uncle into a 5 minute scene involving a corner store robbery. Damn you Stan Lee! (last sentence a joke, don't care that much really)

I finished watching Tomorrow People season 1. It was sufficient, it was a little cheesy but what isn't..

This is no bullshit. I'm executive producer of this movie... yet I haven't seen it yet. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4607980/?ref_=nv_sr_6
I'm pretty skeptical that its a good movie. I keep forgetting to email for a DVD to be sent or a download link. I'm not sure if its post production yet, I forgot when it was being released. I'm thinking maybe its not until May this year but I should find out so I can watch it.

Its the first feature length film to be done under the Creative Commons licence. It was the last thing I still had the money to support before leaving Australia. It was organised largely by Matt Lee, the guy who does libre.fm

Wow, I forgot to misspell bullshit and it made it through the word censor. Maybe someone finally turned it off.

Editing: The ****ers at IMDB are making people sign up with a credit card, which would be fine if they weren't using MY name for the page I was trying to get.
Any case, its underneath the actors here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4607980/...=tt_cl_sm#cast

...so much for the word filter upon editing.
