I think I saw some of this last week in the Fish and Chip shop. The volume was down, but I was transfixed - basically a herd of some sort of bison/buffalo trying to survive a Canadian winter I think. It was pretty harsh. Look out if you're wounded/weak/wierd - the herd will throw you out and let the wolves take you.

Yup. One sequence had a young calf falling into a freezing river during the thaw, and tracked its harrowing attempt to get out through all the ice and sludge. It swam around for ages before it made it out, a huge effort. Anyway, it's all covered in mud from the river bank, staggers back to the herd, which collectively declares "Ew! Mud" and attacks it. So much for survival of the fittest.

You might not have noticed this show was on, because its not on anymore and will probably never see the daylight ever again Dave The Barbarian was and is the greatest cartoon Disney had ever bothered to create. made 21 episodes and then mysteriously cancelled. No DVDs or hard copies of the episodes to be found....

That was a doco on a herd of American Bison in Yellowstone National Park. It was a great watch. They're fascinating creatures. They were almost killed to extinction in the early 19th Century though...good old man kind and their need to obliterate other species off the face of the planet.

Not sure where Billy Connolly comes into it though

The sound was off - I saw his name come up in the end credits and presumed this harrowing sequence was accompanied by some sort of curiously morbid Scottish humour, tossed in with a few snot gags. Obviously it was the "next week, tune in for..." ad.

I hate that. Maybe YouTube has something to say on the subject.

    okay this rocks.

I posted this link before http://www.seriecanal.com/foro/index.php in relation to direct downloads of tv eps. People host stuff on megaupload there and link to it. Theres torrents listed as well but phhht.
I just noticed recently that when you click to the download link, that when it takes you to the megaupload page there's a link for "watch on megavideo" or something like that, and then you can use the flash menu to see it fullscreen... much simpler. There's probaly still a daily limit applying, but you may find that if you just type your password into your router again to login to your isp that it will assign you a new isp, assuming you don't have one that's always static regardless.

Here's an example for people who can't be bothered signing up to a foreign language forum to see what the end restult is http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AU0J4ZUC
On the left of the page is the link for 'View on Megaupload'. The text is small.
I'm a little unure about where Australia is with Lost, but I think that's next weeks episode I linked to, for example. Expect 350 mb per episode.

Its nice to have found somemthing like this organised in one place.

you might not have noticed this was on... because it isn't.

the 4th Season of Skins has begun airing on british TV, so as expected, the episodes are uploaded ready to be downloaded within the hour of each episode going on. Im surprised at the 3rd season hasnt been shown on SBS, and even how long it took for the DVD to come to our shores. pretty slack.
