revheads party could get a senate seat in Victoria

    Great I thought.
But it will probably encourage more loony fringe goups at the next
election and we will have 200 bloody square to fill in.

No could about it, Ricky Muir from the Australian Motoring Enthusiasts
Party was elected to the senate.
I've never heard of him and don't know what he campaigned about but it
can only be a good thing for car enthusiasts to have a voice in the Senate.

So what? It's part of the democratic process and should be encouraged.
You don't have to vote for them.

    The guy's a local, known as a bit of a nuff-nuff.

But it does demonstrate that anyone can aspire to political greatness.
Although what this guy will do that will benefit Australia, who knows?

But, what a way for someone to get a $200k and the perks gig for a 6
    year period…

It takes some considerable care to avoid voting for them while still
    making a formal vote.

He's implying that he takes the trouble to vote below the line, rather
than following a how-to-donkey-vote card. What about you?

    Sylvia.
