YES footsteps by pop evil.. how great is that song!!!

im currently listening to In the Dark by 3 Doors Down.

My playlist coming up is -
    Painkiller - 3 days grace
Bad Company - five finger death punch
Jekyll & Hyde - Five finger death punch
wash it away - Five finger death punch
    Crazy Bitch - Buckcherry
Hail to the king - Avenged Sevenfold
Throne - bring me the horizon
    I am machine - 3 days grace
Shepherd of Fire - Avenged Sevenfold
    Words as weapons - Seether
    Failure - breaking Benjamni
    jenny - Nothing More
    The Vengeful One - Disturbed

& lastly Wrong side of heaven - Five finger death punch
I'm going to look at these (and take them for myself if I like them) after you steered me in a good direction last time.
...Took most of them. Only one from Five Finger Death Punch though. Bad Company is always good but sort of old so I passed on it. I'd love to see Metallica do it though. The last song, same band, I like but I hate the controversy about the war itself (especially by American Islamaphobes) that it put me off from the song too much unfortunately so I didn't take it either. Only one other I didn't take, can't remember which. Thanks for sharing your playlist Punkbabe :-)

You know I'm a sucker I'm presuming, and that with 10 hearts after it I went and listened. My thought was this:
"It would be awesome if Metallica tackled this as well"

...and that's what I listened to. I think Simon and Garfunkel did it better but it's alright. Metallica would make it awesome.

I quoted in case you have notifications on, otherwise it might be 6 months before this gets read. I was just looking at your posts between mine (or did I get that backwards...) and noticed that you had more blog entries than me, so I went and looked. Mine are all directionless rambles. Your poetry is really good. If you had a band to do it justice it would definitely be music worthy without real need for reshaping lyrics it to fit a rhythm. I didn't read them all. I noticed that I commented on something not poetic a while back. I don't remember writing it now but it was kind of ...mean to have rambled and not recognised what you had written. Not much to be done about that now.

So... its turned out to be a halfway appropriate thread to say some of that, because it's music, but I'm not listening to anything as it turns out. My latest Pandora stations are AWOLNATION and 5 Finger Death Punch which have given me some good content for thumbprint radio.

Man this blows. I typed a huge ramble about nothing important on an iPad but wasn't selected to stay logged in. Auto save only got the above part. Now no one will get to read about the moron I found on Facebook from over 20 years ago (he really is an idiot. If there was an award I'd nominate him).

I always liked the idea of turning my writings into songs. I just dont have "that" creativity. Maybe one day.

Im listening to Hail to the king by Avenged sevenfold.

    I bumped the thread.

Yeah that's right. I bumped it, not someone else, me. I suppose that's just how cool I am.

That's a tortured song man. The tune is good and the lyrics are good but man, its really tortured isn't it...

I'm listening to some dogs bark in the distance. Its not a song, its whats I hear outside.
