Massive Attack announced their upcoming gig at Sidney Myer Bowl a little while ago and i considered it. Heard the new album and its good, so after much debate i have forked out the $140 to get a seat (stuff sitting on the grass, sound is terrible). people are skeptic, but oh well. hope its good

Tame Impala's long awaited LP is due for release in May, so they're touring across Oz.

Tickets went on sale today, so i grabbed one for Melbourne at the Forum. $28 which i think is a great price, but twice the price will get you a hard copy for the new album. no thanks

Naa, but browse setlist.fm metallica's pages (great site that) and have a look through the last dozen or so - that'll give you an idea of what they are playing.

Apparently they decide on a few songs just prior going onto stage each time or something.

As well as the "usual suspects" (Creep, One, Tollz, Seek, Fade, Whip, Sanitarium, Battery, Harvester), I personally love Blackened & Thingy live and really, really hope they pull those out of the hat on the night I go.

GA Standing (Floor) Tkts for me & 3 mates to Sydney Sat 13th Nov.
(Through ticketek online this morning – Lucky to get them, I tell ya).

Will be 4th time for me, to see the best band in all history..

1) 1989 @ The Hordern Pavilion, Sydney – Justice Tour I think? Absolutely kicked ass, full roam, dark, loud, awesome.

2) Several years later @ Syd Ent. Centre, seats somewhere way back, Kyuss supported them. Syd. Ent. Cent. sucks, thankfully Metallica's sound made up for it, but seats at such a gig without full roam was dodgy.

3) Several years later @ Newcastle Ent. Centre, full roam, was awesome.

4) Acer Arena Sydney 13th Nov 2010, Magnetic Tour, GA Standing (Floor), will go off. Probably the last time I'll ever see them, my fav. band of all time. Gonna go hard in the mosh pit(s).

Thankfully some of my crew already have GA Floor Tx @ Acer in Nov. Lookin' forward to it!
